This tour offers you the opportunity to combine the most impressive places in the Argentine Puna in a single excursion: The Train tracks to the Clouds, Salinas Grandes and Purmamarca.
Enjoy the comfort of traveling in an exclusive service for you! You will travel to the Salinas Grandes, passing first through San Antonio de los Cobres, in the heart of Puna Argentina. Let yourself be captivated by the highlands of the area, the variety of landscapes and wildlife of the place.
You will depart from the city of Salta, heading to the gateway to the Andes, Campo Quijano along Route 51, where you can enjoy the variety of landscapes that this road offers.
You will live the experience of traveling just meters along the tracks of one of the most famous trains in the world, the Train to the Clouds. There will be a break in the town of San Antonio de los Cobres, where you can go to lunch (lunch not included) and explore this mining town a little.
Next, you will continue your way through the Puna along RN 40 towards the Salinas Grandes to make a special stop at this imposing salt flat. Through the Cuesta de Lipan, you will descend to the town of Purmamarca, at sunset you will be able to see the Hill of 7 Colors in the distance.
Please note that there are some hotels in the city that are not included in our pickup routes. If your hotel is not included, we will contact you to inform you of the closest pick up location. We ask that you wait for the guide in the lobby of the hotel indicated.
During peak holiday seasons (July and January), tours may operate on buses with a capacity of up to 50 passengers. In these cases, hotel pick-up services will not be provided; a meeting point will be established in the city center instead.
