An excellent Trekking Excursion of 9 to 10 Hours in Total (Ascent and Descent), that will make you arrive with our Certified Guides to the Base Torres Viewpoint.
Pick up in the morning between 06:15 AM to 07:00 AM approximately at your lodging.
Afterwards we will head towards Torres del Paine National Park, after 2 hours of travel, we will arrive at the starting point of our hike.
After a briefing from our guide, we will start walking along the trail towards an old bridge that crosses the Asencio River. After an hour's walk, we will arrive at the El Chileno Campsite, in the shade of a spectacular lenga forest, crossing several slopes that fall from Mount Almirante Nieto.
After a brief stop, we will continue our way to the next viewpoint, at 700 m of altitude, from here, the trail increases its slope, half an hour later we will reach the Base Las Torres at the east FINAL of the lagoon, from where we will have a spectacular view of the three towers and the Peineta and Nido de Cóndores hills. With this view, we will have time to rest and have our box lunch. Afterwards we will return by the same path until we reach the starting point, from where we will take the vehicle that will take us back to Puerto Natales.
Moderate complexity trekking.
Total hours of trekking: 8 hours approx.
IMPORTANT:
This tour may be suspended for climatic reasons that do not allow the trekking.
Please note:
- Tickets must be purchased online at https://www.aspticket.cl.
- WHAT TO BRING: Sunscreen, water, hat and gloves for the cold, warm polar type clothing (Polartec or similar), waterproof jacket and pants. Backpack for daily hikes and waterproof hiking shoes.
- Bring snacks for easy consumption: cold sandwich, water, juice, dried fruits, chocolates, cookies, etc.
- Infants from 0 to 2 years old free of charge without seat, if you request it, you will have to pay an extra at destination.
