ITINERARY
Pick up at the meeting point.
First, visit to the Archaeological Zone of Huaycan, with high pre-Inca constructions, a great administrative center, strategically located to control the roads to other settlements; as well as the water and the population in general.
Our next stop will be the small town of Sisicaya, a desolate town with very few inhabitants which has many legends that will be explained in the bus by our guide; where we will also find the Inca Qapac Ñan trail.
On the way we will pass through the villages of Antapucho, Chillaco, Cochahuayco, Nieve Nieve and finally we will arrive to Antioquia.
We will visit the district of Antioquia, a multicolored town located in the middle basin of the Lurin River, 75km from Lima leaving through Cieneguilla. The village stands out for the particularity that all the walls have been painted with motifs of the Holy Spirit in the manner of a life-size Ayacucho altarpiece. "Colors for Antioquia" is the name of this initiative undertaken by an NGO to promote tourism in the town. The main dishes prepared here are: Cabrito seco, chupé de camarón, shrimp omelet and Creole dishes that complement the culinary offerings of the town.
Visit the wall of love with its waterfalls.
Free time for lunch.
Short hike to the viewpoint of Amancaes de Antioquia where we can enjoy the outdoors and the beautiful scenery. We will learn about the local agro-industry based on apple and quince. You will be able to see the elaboration of apple nectar, cider and jam of the mentioned products.
Transfer to the village of Kochahuayco, here we will learn about the handmade production of agro-industrial products based on local fruits.
Return to Lima at approximately 7pm.
