Depart from Belo Horizonte to visit the Inhotim Institute, considered the largest open-air museum in the world. The Institute is located within the Atlantic Forest domain of the city of Brumadinho and houses one of the most important collections of contemporary art in Brazil. Opened in 2006, Inhotim has gardens, galleries, buildings and forest fragments, plus five ornamental lakes.
