First up is Maeklong Market, a rather special shopping scene set along train tracks. Dating back to around 1905, this seafood market is one of the largest in Thailand. Feel the thrill as vendors whisk away their stock in a matter of minutes before a train approaches and passes through the middle of their stalls.
Slow things down a pace next at Baan Rim Klong community, where you'll meet the locals and hear about their traditions. Watch how workers impressively clamber up coconut trees and NEXT extract sugar from the fresh fruit. You'll also learn how baskets are woven from palm leaves, before helping to prepare âKanom Thai' - a popular Thai dessert. Round things off at a local restaurant where you'll tuck into a tasty lunch.

Justo lo que buscábamos. Vale madrugar, el paisaje a esa hora es otra cosa. El tiempo en Maeklong fue suficiente para disfrutarlo de verdad. Lo único es que la información previa podría ser más clara sobre el punto de encuentro. Una experiencia que vale cada minuto.

De lo mejor que hicimos en el viaje. El personal de tierra fue amable desde el primer contacto. El chofer nos fue contando qué era cada cosa hasta Maeklong Railway Market. Mucho más tranquilo que pelear un taxi a la salida del aeropuerto. Muy recomendable para cualquier edad.

Better than expected
We booked this on a whim and it ended up being our favourite day. We learned more about the city in a few hours than from three guidebooks. Going through Mercado Ferroviário de Maeklong made the whole tour worth it. I did not expect bangkok to be included, a nice bonus. Highly recommended.

So glad we booked this. The talk at Bangkok really stayed with us. Mercado Ferroviário de Maeklong was the moment of the day. Punctual and smooth, no hiccups. Easy going, you do not need to be fit for it.

Nos fuimos conformes. Dedicale tiempo a Bangkok, vale la pena. Muy bueno que incluyera mercado Ferroviário de Maeklong. Un detalle: los asientos no son de lo más cómodos para un recorrido largo. Lo recomendaría igual.
