Description
Total immersion in the Accademia Gallery and in the art of Michelangelo to know his most renowned work, the 'David', and other important works of art such as "I Prigioni" and "San Matteo" and the 'Palestrina Pietà'. The young Michelangelo carved the David from a huge block of rough marble in three years, creating an imposing sculpture of absolute beauty, an icon of the renaissance model. He depicted a magnificent nude young man at the height of his physical vigor, whose intense expression of strength and courage, which originated from an absolute faith in God, roses as a symbol of power and invincibility of the Florentine Republic at the time of its maximum splendor.
The visit continues with the discovery of the Medici district, where you can admire the monuments that the members of the famous Florentine family themselves admired everyday with their own eyes: the amazing palace where they lived, the ancient San Lorenzo Church and the Medici Chapels, their mausoleum.
A few steps away you will find the marvelous Duomo monumental Complex: the Baptistery with its golden 'Porta del Paradiso', the Cathedral with the famous Brunelleschi Dome and the elegant Giotto bell tower.
The tour NEXT goes through the characteristic streets of the medieval district where Dante and Beatrice lived and where you can also admire the imposing and unique Church of Orsanmichele, a masterpiece of Florentine Gothic art, adorned with the statues of the patron saints of the powerful medieval trading guilds. Cumple y sobra
No podría haber salido mejor. Llevá protector solar y agua, el sol pega fuerte. Sale más que hacerlo suelto, pero te ahorra toda la organización. La reserva fue simple y llegó la confirmación al toque. Las fotos de Florencia no le hacen justicia. Ojalá todos los tours fueran así.

Not to be missed
We picked it from the photos and it was even better in person. We paid noticeably less than other options and the experience was just as good. Of the whole route, Curiosities and Anecdotes is what I remember most.
