Description
Enjoy at your own pace the beautiful Accademia Gallery, one of the most famous art galleries in the world. Among other wonderful masterpieces, you will be able to admire works of art by Michelangelo including his most famous work, David, as well as other important works of art such as 'I Prigioni' and 'San Matteo'. The young Michelangelo carved the David from a huge block of rough marble in three years, creating an imposing sculpture of absolute beauty, an icon of the renaissance model. He depicted a magnificent nude young man at the height of his physical vigor, whose intense expression of strength and courage, which originated from an absolute faith in God, roses as a symbol of power and invincibility of the Florentine Republic at the time of its maximum splendor.

Delivers and more
Booked at the last minute and it was a great call. Mind your footwear, something with grip is best. The price is honest for what you get. If we come back to Florencia, we will do it again.

Worth far more than what it costs. We had enough time at Museum Sunset to take photos without rushing. Thank you for a great day out.

Almost perfect
Very good, just short of excellent. The guide spoke very fast and it was easy to lose the thread. The multi-language Accademia Museum Audio Tour with interactive 3D Map and Icons is worth it on its own. Timings were well judged, never felt rushed. Some stops need more shade while you wait.
