Description
For all those customers who wish to visit the museum in total freedom and at their own pace, guided by an audio commentary of expert art historians recorded in their own language.
Total immersion in the art of Michelangelo to know his most renowned work, the David, and other important works of art such as ''I Prigioni'' and ''San Matteo'' and the Palestrina Pietà.
The young Michelangelo carved the David from a huge block of rough marble in three years, creating an imposing sculpture of absolute beauty, an icon of the renaissance model.
He depicted a magnificent nude young man at the height of his physical vigor, whose intense expression of strength and courage, which originated from an absolute faith in God, roses as a symbol of power and invincibility of the Florentine Republic at the time of its maximum splendor.

Could not have gone better. Of the whole route, Renaissance is what I remember most. Not the cheapest, but justified. Highly recommended.

Best day of our stay in Florencia. The walk up to Galería de la Academia was worth every step. We got a brilliant guide, full of facts and good humour. If only every tour were run like this.

Recommended, as long as you know what to expect. Do it early, fewer people and much better light. The talk at David really stayed with us. The guide was fine, though the microphone kept cutting out. At rush hour the traffic stretches the route out quite a bit.
