Description
Our tour will start at the Farol da Barra, wherever we will stop for photos . Along the Sete de Setembro Avenue, pass by the slope of Barra, Largo and Hall of Victory (with its beautiful mansions as the current Museu Carlos Costa Pinto), Campo Grande (stage demonstrations which were carnival ) . Our walking tour will start in the Town Square, wherever are situated the White River Palace and the City Hall, in front of the Elevator Lacerda, from whose balustrades we contemplate one of the most beautiful views of the Bay of All Saints. We continue towards the Shrine of Jesus, wherever is located the Savior Cathedral Basilica and visit the Church of San Francisco, one of the richest in Brazil and considered the most beautiful example of Portuguese Baroque in the world . We finish our tour at Largo do Pelourinho, a place that mix colors, races, culture and history . Recognized as World Heritage by UNESCO and immortalized by the famous writer Jorge Amado . Return to the hotel .

One of the highlights of our trip to Salvador de Bahia. The price is honest for what you get. We took loads of photos, the route hits all the right spots. The guide switched between languages effortlessly. Frequency between buses could be better at the later stops. I have already recommended it to two friends travelling next month.

Foi o melhor dia da nossa viagem a Salvador de Bahia. Baía de Todos foi uma surpresa, não estava nos nossos planos. É uma forma bem prática de se localizar na cidade no primeiro dia. Se voltarmos a Salvador de Bahia, repetimos.

Highlight of the trip
Highly recommended, no reservations. The stop at All Saints was our favourite. Excellent guide with a deep knowledge of the local history. If we come back to Salvador de Bahia, we will do it again.
