Description
Make the most of your reserved access to the world-famous Louvre Museum to visit its masterpieces :the Venus de Milo, the Mona Lisa, Liberty Leading the People and many more.
A licensed guide will accompany you throughout the visit to help you optimize your time in this maze of galleries.
Before becoming a museum in 1793, the Louvre was for centuries one of the main residences of the kings of France. Located in the heart of Paris and covering an area of 73,000 m2, it houses the largest collection of artworks in the world, tracing more than 9,000 years of history, from ancient civilizations to the 19th century. The collections are divided into eight departments: Egyptian Antiquities, Greek, Etruscan and Roman Antiquities, Near Eastern Antiquities, Islamic Art, Paintings, Sculptures, and Decorative Arts.
Meet your guide at the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel, where he will welcome the group.
Thanks to your reserved access, your guide will lead you directly through the museum’s masterpieces during a comprehensive orientation tour.
Your itinerary includes the must-see highlights: the Mona Lisa painted by Leonardo da Vinci in 1506, the medieval foundations of the palace, ancient treasures such as the Venus de Milo and the Caryatids, a passage through the Etruscan collections, Pharaonic Egypt with the Seated Scribe and a mummy, the Galerie d’Apollon and its jewels, major French paintings such as Liberty Leading the People, the decorative arts of the kings and the apartments of Napoleon III, as well as the Richelieu Wing and its magnificent French sculptures.
We will also explore the rich history of the ancient Near East through the civilizations of Mesopotamia, Syria, Persia, and the Near Eastern Arts, true witnesses to the origins of writing, architecture, and culture.

Volvería a hacerlo

Recomendo no geral.

Casi perfecto
