Meet at the lobby of your hotel in the El Pablo, Laureles, or Estadio neighborhoods (See note*1). From the moment we depart Medellín, you'll be immersed in spectacular landscapes of vibrant colors and a rich cultural heritage. En route, we'll visit the Republica del Alto del Chocho farm for a short break where you can purchase local food products such as arepas, cheese, and traditional drinks like aguapanela. After a drive of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, we'll pass through the new town of Peñol, a fundamental starting point for learning about the past, present, and future of this beautiful area. We'll enjoy a boat ride along the waters of the Peñol-Guatapé reservoir to appreciate the mountains and luxurious homes that surround it. Later, we'll visit the majestic Piedra del Peñol, from the top of which you can enjoy a panoramic view of the reservoir. Here, we offer enough time for you to climb to the top of Piedra del Peñol (Peñol Rock) on a climb of more than 600 steps (ticket not included). We will NEXT visit the town of Guatapé, famous for its Zócalos (painted on the walls of its houses). Here, we will take a walking tour of its main squares and have free time for shopping in the souvenir shops. A traditional lunch is included. In the afternoon, we will return to Medellín and arrive at your hotel in the El Poblado, Laureles, or Estadio areas (See Note*1).
Note *1: Pick-up and drop-off are only available at hotels located in the El Poblado, Laureles, or Estadio neighborhoods between 6:30 and 8:30 am. Pick-up is not available for accommodations located in other areas or neighborhoods. In these cases, passengers must go to one of the following meeting points: San José Church in El Poblado Park at 7:20 am, or Estadio Metro Station, specifically at the Dos Estrellas Bakery at 7:00 am. The transportation unit will arrive at these points with a tolerance of up to 10 to 45 minutes due to the city's own dynamics of scheduled pick-ups and traffic.
