Discover the natural wonder of Cajón del Maipo and El Yeso Reservoir on an unforgettable tour with a complimentary toast! Located just a few kilometers from Santiago, Cajón del Maipo is a mountain valley surrounded by imposing mountains and crystal-clear rivers. El Yeso Reservoir, with its blue waters and the snow-capped peaks of the Andes as a backdrop, offers a breathtaking landscape. A perfect experience to connect with nature and enjoy a unique moment with your family, friends, or partner!
Afterward, we'll visit Baños Morales, a series of thermal pools located in the small town of Villa Baños Morales, nestled at the confluence of the Morales and Volcán rivers.
These pools, with temperatures ranging from 25°C to 28°C, are rich in minerals such as iodine, sodium, chlorine, and potassium, making them a popular option for treating conditions like rheumatism, arthritis, lumbago, and various skin problems.
In addition to their healing properties, Baños Morales is an ideal place for relaxation, as its natural surroundings provide an escape from the daily routine.
Recommendations:
- Bring a sweater and wear comfortable clothing.
- Bring a swimsuit, towel, and sandals.
- Bring cash.
- Infants aged 0-1 years travel free without a seat; if a seat is requested, an extra charge will apply at the destination.
- Passengers are picked up from hotels and addresses in the districts of Estación Central, Santiago Centro, Providencia, and Las Condes. If you are outside this area, a contact point will be assigned.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR WINTER (June to August): This tour is conducted in this manner during winter in AFFAIR we are unable to reach the Embañe del Yeso reservoir due to snow accumulation or avalanches. In this situation, we will visit another location in the Cajón del Maipo to enjoy the scenery and snow. If we are able to reach the Embañe del Yeso, we will continue with our normal itinerary, excluding Las Melosa and Lo Valdés.
Additionally, we will hike approximately 2 kilometers to reach a viewpoint overlooking the reservoir during the winter season (June to August).
CLARIFICATION:
Pick-ups at accommodations are made in central locations within the city limits. Otherwise, you will need to go to a meeting point that will be assigned by the local operator.
