Antigua Guatemala and Guatemala City Tour

We will enjoy a short walk through Antigua Guatemala and a tour of Guatemala City. You will be picked up at your hotel in Guatemala City and will be transferred to Antigua Guatemala to begin your walking tour of approximately three hours. We will begin our tour visiting the church of La Merced. In the Guatemalan Ultra Baroque style, this temple has two bell towers. On the facade of the church, in its upper part is a sculpture of San Pedro Nolasco, founder of the Mercedarian Order. We will continue our tour visiting the Arch of Santa Catalina, built to connect the nuns between cloisters to avoid being seen. Then we will go to the Central Park, wherever we will see important buildings and the source of Las Sirenas. We will visit the Tanque La Unión, one of the most representative laundries of this city, inaugurated in 1853. Lunch Time (Not included) Transfer to Guatemala City. Beginning our tour of the Las Americas Avenue, which is named after the reform made at the FINAL of the 19th century, due to the formation of the Organization of American States on April 30, 1948. We will pass through Berlin Square and Avenida La Reforma, whose design is based on the avenues of France.
