What is the child ticketing policy? A child ticket is available for children aged between 3 and 12 years. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Children aged 2 years and under may travel free of charge. Children aged 15 years and under must be accompanied by an adult. Strollers and pushchairs must be folded and stowed on the lower deck.
Do I need to specify a date of travel? Yes âweâll ask you to CHOOSE the date youâd like to hop on the bus. If youâre touring with us for more than one day, your ticket must be used across consecutive days, and the date you CHOOSE at time of booking should be the first day of your tour. Some tours also require you to CHOOSE a time of travel, to guarantee your seat. If your ticket includes extras, you may also need to book additional dates & times for all elements of your ticket after your purchase is complete. On which days does the tour operate? The Big Bus tour of San Francisco operates every day of the year.
What is the food and drink policy? No food or alcohol is permitted on board the bus. Non-alcoholic drinks in screw-top bottles are permitted.
Accessibility Big Bus operates wheelchair accessible vehicles that can accommodate a weight up to 650 pounds. Please be advised that the upper deck on our entire fleet in San Francisco is not wheelchair accessible. Passengers with mobility requirements may not be able to access the upper deck of our buses. Big Bus cannot guarantee the accessibility of the various attractions along the tour.
Day Tour Departure Times First tour of the day departs at 10:00 am from Stop 1 at the Big Bus Tours Visitors' Center, and buses will come every 15 minutes until 6.00 pm depending on the of time of year. Other popular stops to start the tour include Stop 5 at Union Square South and Stop 11 at the Golden Gate Bridge however you can redeem your ticket at any of the over 15 Big Bus stops.
