We begin the day with transportation from your accommodation in San Juan to the charming department of Jáchal. There, we'll discover San José de Jáchal, a city that proudly preserves the vestiges of its colonial style, transporting us back in time with its streets, architecture, and traditions.
We then delve into one of the region's most impressive sights: the Jáchal River Canyon, a natural spectacle that amazes with its beauty and power. We continue along National Route 150, traveling through the San Juan foothills while bordering the majestic Jáchal River, heading for the impressive Cuesta del Viento Dam, famous for its constant, intense gusts, ideal for windsurfing and kitesurfing.
Our journey continues to Rodeo, the capital of the Iglesia department, a corner full of charm and tranquility. We conclude with a visit to a historical gem: the Achango Chapel, the oldest in the entire province, which preserves centuries of spirituality and history within its adobe walls.
Return along the winding Cuesta del Colorado road. Arrive at the hotel in the afternoon.
Some hotels in the city are not included in our pickup itinerary. If this is the case, we will contact you to indicate the closest hotel to which you should go so that we can pick you up for the excursion. You must wait for your guide in the lobby of the indicated hotel.
