The adventure begins: the Panama Canal
At 7:30 a.m., a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle will pick you up at your hotel to begin the journey. The first stop will be the Panama Canal, one of the world's engineering marvels. At the Miraflores Visitor Center, you will see huge ships passing through the locks and learn about the canal's history and impact on global trade. It is important to follow the pick-up instructions and the proposed schedule to ensure greater guarantees of being able to observe the transit of the ships through the locks. For this reason, on certain occasions we may alter the tour itinerary, but this does not mean that we will not cover all the points included. At the Visitor Center, you will also enjoy an IMAX 3D projection narrated by Morgan Freeman, which will immerse you in the fascinating history of this masterpiece.
Exploring history in Casco Antiguo
Next, we will head to Casco Antiguo, Panama City's most charming colonial neighborhood. We will walk through its cobblestone streets, admiring architecture that blends Spanish and French influences. Highlights of the tour include the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Church of San Jose with its famous Golden Altar, the Plaza de Francia, the National Theater and the Bolivar Palace. You will also learn about the history of the pirates who sacked the city and how it was rebuilt in this historic enclave.
Spectacular views on the Amador Causeway
The next stop will take us to the Calzada de Amador, a promenade built with rocks extracted from the canal. This road connects four islands and offers the best panoramic views of the city and the entrance to the Panama Canal. Here you can visit the Biomuseo, designed by the famous architect Frank Gehry, where you will learn about Panama's unique biodiversity. In addition, you will have time to browse craft stores and the exclusive Duty-Free, ideal for those who wish to take advantage of duty-free shopping.

Before returning to the hotel, we will make one last stop at the Handicrafts Market, where you can purchase unique pieces made by local artists. From colorful indigenous textiles to hand-carved sculptures, this is the perfect place to take home an authentic souvenir of Panama.
