- Due to St. Mark's Basilica security regulations, a PASSPORT OR VALID ID DOCUMENT IS MANDATORY to COMBINE this tour. It is your responsibility to ensure you have a valid document with you on tour. Passengers who fail to provide a valid proof of identity will be denied entry.
- Additional measures may be implemented at some locations due to increased global security. As a result, we may experience delays in passing through mandatory security checks when entering these locations. The additional measures may also restrict the size of bags that can be carried inside. To avoid disruptions or possible denial of entry, we strongly recommend that you avoid bringing large purses, handbags or backpacks on your tour. St. Mark's Basilica specifically prohibits large bags, umbrellas and tripods. These items must be checked in at the off-site luggage storage area, so you may lose a portion of your tour to do so.
- It is the responsibility of all visitors to be at the meeting point 15 minutes prior to departure. Guests arriving after departure time cannot be accommodated and no refunds can be given for missed tours or tickets.
- This tour involves considerable walking. Comfortable shoes are recommended.
- We regret that we are unable to accommodate guests with wheelchairs or any disability requiring special assistance. We also cannot accommodate strollers or baby carriages on our group tours.
- Entry to religious sites requires a strict dress code. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. We are not responsible for denial of entry due to improper dress.
- Please note that suitcases, trolleys and any bulky luggage (any luggage whose sum of the three sides exceeds 1 linear meter, including handles, wheels and external pockets) are not allowed in the Doge's Palace. Smaller but still bulky bags and backpacks, umbrellas and any other objects that, in the opinion of security personnel, cannot be brought into the exhibition areas, must be left in the checkroom.

From St. Mark’s Square, face the basilica and turn right toward the Doge’s Palace. Continue past the Bridge of Sighs until you reach the Riva degli Schiavoni (the waterfront promenade). Walk for about 2 minutes, NEXT turn left onto Calle de le Rasse. The meeting point is at number 4536.
