With the Tot Montserrat ticket you will have everything you need to enjoy a day of nature, art and spirituality. Get on the train that will take you to Monistrol de Montserrat, in Plaza España, where you can go and return by metro. Once at the foot of the mountain you will have to choose whether you prefer to go up with the rack railroad, inaugurated in the 19th century and recently renovated, or with the Aeri, a cable car that overcomes slopes of up to 45 degrees. In both cases you will enjoy a journey with spectacular panoramic views until you reach Montserrat.
If you want to go even higher, you can enjoy unlimited use of the Sant Joan de Montserrat Funicular, from where you will see how the horizon stretches from the Pyrenees to the sea.
You will enter the Audiovisual Space, a virtual tour that will show you the interior of the Benedictine monastery and you can visit the Museum of Montserrat, where you can see works by Dalí, El Greco, Miró, Picasso, Tàpies, as well as treasures from the ancient biblical East. And to complete your experience, nothing like a good meal, with typical dishes of Catalan cuisine, in the restaurant of Montserrat.

Good value
All went well, bar one detail I mention below. Much appreciated that entrance to the Espai Audiovisual, “Montserrat behind closed doors” is included. Worth the early start, the landscape at that hour is something else. There were several of us and we could not get seats together.

Terminamos o dia comentando como tinha sido bom. Nunca vi nada parecido com Cogwheel Train. Saiu no horário, sem sustos. Não pense duas vezes, reserve.

Vale muchísimo más de lo que cuesta. Barcelona nos voló la cabeza, no esperábamos algo así. El ritmo era cómodo, ni corriendo ni aburrido. Usamos entrada al Museo de Montserrat todo el tiempo y funcionó perfecto. Ojalá todos los tours fueran así.

Casi perfecto
Salió todo bien, con un detalle que menciono más abajo. El paso por Cogwheel Train fue rápido y directo. Nos atendieron por WhatsApp para una duda y respondieron en minutos. Le pondría un pero al tiempo libre, se sintió corto en algunas paradas. Se puede mejorar, pero no me arrepiento de haberlo hecho.

Impecable, no le encuentro un pero. Se respetó al minuto el horario de regreso. Que incluya ida y vuelta a plaza España en metro te saca un problema de encima. Éramos varios y no alcanzaron los asientos juntos. Lo recomendaría a cualquiera que visite Barcelona.

It is essential to exchange the printed voucher at the pick-up point indicated in order to obtain the Tot Montserrat card. Without the Tot Montserrat card you cannot use the services included in the card.
Ticket collection:
- Tourist information point at Plaça Catalunya*, 17-s. Hours: from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. (Except January 1st and December 25th).
- FGC station at Plaça Espanya, Monday to Sunday, from 8am to 2pm.
- The stations, the train and the rack railway are accessible for people with reduced mobility and other disabilities.
- To access the Monastery of Montserrat it is not allowed to wear suspenders, shorts or sandals.
Santa Cova Funicular will remain closed until further notice.
