Discover a unique historical and artistic complex in Catalonia. With the Episcopal Girona ticket you can visit three emblematic buildings of the city: the basilica of Sant Feliu, the cathedral and the old Episcopal Palace, today the Girona Art Museum.
GIRONA ART MUSEUM, IN THE OLD EPISCOPAL PALACE
Next to the Cathedral, located in the old Episcopal Palace, is the Girona Art Museum. Founded in 1976, it has the third most important collection of Romanesque and Gothic art in Catalonia. You will discover unique works of Catalan art, from the Romanesque to the present day.
BASILICA OF SANT FÉLIU
Continue the route visiting the Basilica of San Féliu, the old Cathedral of Girona. This temple was the first cathedral in Girona until the 10th century. Today it is one of the most representative Gothic buildings in the city for its tall bell tower, dating from the 14th-16th centuries.
CATHEDRAL OF SANTA MARÍA DE GIRONA
Just a few minutes walk from the Basilica of Sant Feliu you will find the Cathedral of Girona, a symbol of the city with more than 5 centuries old. Located at the top of the municipality, its only nave is the second largest in the world, only behind San Pedro del Vaticano. The 90 steps of the spectacular staircase will take you to the front door.
