Description
The Cúneo family, of Italian origin, founded Casas del Bosque in 1993 in the Casablanca Valley, located 70 kilometers from Santiago, the capital of Chile, and 30 kilometers from the port of Valparaíso, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The large, ancient forests of pine and olive trees and small white adobe houses gave rise to the name 'Casas del Bosque' (Forest Houses). Today, the vineyard has a unique vineyard of 235 hectares, dedicated exclusively to the production of cool-climate varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Noir and Syrah. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenere come from carefully managed vineyards in Maipo, Colchagua and Cachapoal.

Good, with caveats
Very good overall. Good guide, polite and helpful. It dragged a little through the middle section. I do recommend it, with the caveats above.

Vale a pena, sabendo disso.

Casi perfecto

We booked this on a whim and it ended up being our favourite day. For what is included, the price is more than fair. Five well earned stars.
