We will visit the Cajón del Maipo sector in the middle of the Andes Mountains to appreciate the different landscapes this wonderful place offers in winter and during the snowy season.

- Free time to walk and take photos in a natural and snowy environment

ATTENTION: During the winter season (June - August), the route is usually closed due to snow, avalanches, and landslides in the Embalse del Yeso area. Therefore, the tour becomes the CAJON DEL MAIPO EXPERIENCE, which will take you to a safe location to enjoy the snow and natural landscapes.
Pickups for this tour begin at 5:30 a.m.

Would do it again
We spent the evening talking about how good it had been. Great value for money. Cajón del Maipo Embalse del Yeso was the moment of the day. You could tell it was properly organised. Easily one of the best things we did.

Faultless, honestly. We finished with a clear picture of how the city fits together. Punctual and smooth, no hiccups. We had no idea about the history of Cajón del Maipo Embalse del Yeso. You could tell the guide was a local, telling it first hand. We would book again.

We picked it from the photos and it was even better in person. Going through Cajón del Maipo Embalse del Yeso made the whole tour worth it. If you are in Santiago, do not miss it.

Buena experiencia, con un detalle que conviene saber antes. El guía cumplió, sin ser memorable. Recomiendo hacerlo temprano, hay menos gente y mejor luz. Una de las paradas estaba cerrada ese día y no lo avisaron. Buena opción, sobre todo si es tu primera visita.

The kind of thing you still remember years later. We had enough time at Cajón del Maipo Embalse del Yeso to take photos without rushing. Slick logistics, clearly done every day. If anything, the free time felt short at some stops. Thank you for a great day out.

- Wear a sweater and wear comfortable clothing.
- Bring cash.
- Infants from 0 to 1 years old free of charge without seat, if requested, an extra charge must be paid at destination.
- Passengers are picked up at hotels and addresses in the districts of Estación Central, Santiago Centro, Providencia and Las Condes, if they are not within the range, a Contact Point will be assigned to them.
- IMPORTANT NOTE FOR WINTER (June to August): This tour is done this way in winter in AFFAIR we are NOT able to reach the Embalse del Yeso due to snow accumulation or bearings, under this situation we will opt to go to another place in the Cajón del Maipo to enjoy the landscape and the snow. If we manage to reach the Embalse del Yeso we will continue with our normal itinerary without Las Melosa or Lo Valdes. Pick up for this tour starts at 05.30 am.
On the other hand, we walk approximately 2 kilometers to reach a viewpoint to observe the reservoir in winter season (June to August).

Pick up at accommodations are made in central locations in the urban radius, otherwise, you will have to arrive at a meeting point that will be assigned by the local operator.
*Pick up at nearby hotels and inside the airport is NOT available.
