*Changgyeonggung Palace: Located in the heart of Seoul, Changgyeonggung Palace was originally built as Suganggung Palace by King Sejong (r. 1418-1450) of the Joseon Dynasty for his father, King Taejong. Later renovated and renamed by King Seongjong (r. 1469-1494), the palace served as the residence of queens and royal concubines. During the Japanese colonial period, it was converted into a park with a zoo and botanical garden, but in 1983, it was fully restored to its former grandeur. Today, Changgyeonggung stands as a serene symbol of Korea’s royal heritage.
*Gwangjang Market (Including Tastings): Founded over 116 years ago, Gwangjang Market is Korea’s oldest traditional market and a paradise for food lovers. *Jogyesa Temple: The spiritual heart of Korean Buddhism, Jogyesa Temple traces its origins to the late 14th century during the Goryeo period. Though destroyed by fire, it was rebuilt in 1910 and later renamed Jogyesa in 1954. As the head temple of the Jogye Order, it continues to host important Buddhist ceremonies, lectures, and events throughout the year.
