Enjoy a walking tour introducing the making of Harry Potter in Oxford and an audio-guided tour inside Christ Church College. See and hear about both Harry Potter and Lewis Carroll’s legendary characters, such as Alice and the Mad Hatter. First, admire the views of Christ Church Meadows. Take in the borders of the rivers of Cherwell and Isis. Next, see longhorn cattle graze and the dreamy spires of Merton College and Corpus Christi. Then, see the Bodleian Library, one of the oldest libraries in Europe. See Christ Church's cloisters and staircase that were used as inspiration for the Great Hall, or visit New College. Also enjoy entry to either the Divinity School or the New College film site.
- Please note that this is a walking tour with numerous steps and backstage areas; comfortable shoes are recommended.
- On graduation dates, admission to the colleges is not guaranteed. Colleges may be closed on graduation dates or during the Christmas period. On such dates, the activity provider will inform you if there is a closure and offer you the opportunity to reschedule, cancel or continue with the tour for an extra £5 cash payment per person to SUPERSEDE the Divinity School entrance fee with the New College entrance fee.
- On any dates, when Christ church hall is closed, the tour will instead visit New college and its hall (which also inspired the Great Hall too)
- Notice: Divinity school is typically closed Christmas time from December 24 to 26 and on January 1st.
