Description
Departure to visit some of the most important points in the history of the city of Salvador, such as some of its first streets, squares and churches. The tour begins at the Farol da Barra in the direction of the Upper City through the Victory Corridor, Campo Grande and Piedade. We continue through the center of the city, passing through the apotheosis of the traditional Salvador carnival circuit, until reaching the great highlight of this itinerary, the Pelourinho, an important cultural center of the city of Salvador, and it is also one of the most important architectural complexes from the 17th and 18th centuries still existing. From the Lacerda Elevator viewpoint, it is possible to appreciate the Upper City, the Lower City and the diversity of angles offered by the variety of planes that the streets and houses of Pelourinho offer. From each place you have a different and amazing aesthetic vision. It is also worth highlighting the beauty of the Churches, such as those of São Francisco de Assis, Catedral Basílica and Nossa Senhora do Rosário dos Pretos. The tour ends at Largo do Pelourinho, with the possibility of visiting the Casa de Jorge Amado Foundation. Back to the hotel.

Cannot recommend enough
Highly recommended, no reservations. The scenery at Salvador de Bahia does not fit in a photo. The guide answered even the oddest questions with real detail. Compared with doing it yourself, it works out well. An experience worth every minute.

One of the highlights of our trip to Salvador de Bahia. Our guide remembered everyone by name, a nice touch. The group was not huge, which made it much more comfortable. For what is included, the price is more than fair. Easily one of the best things we did.

Recommended
We had a good time, recommended with a caveat or two. The guide handled the group well. It helped us decide where to go back to later in the week. We had enough time at Salvador to take photos without rushing. Some stops need more shade while you wait.
