Camel Ride in Marrakech Palm grove

After you're picked up from your hotel, make your way across the desert sands to the Palmeraie, a serene grove of palm trees just 20 minutes from the bustle of the city. Don a chech (head scarf) and gandora (robe-like garment) to protect your skin from the desert sands and beating sun, and NEXT let a camel driver get you situated comfortably atop a gentle camel.

Relax as you ride beneath the rustling palms from the picturesque Kasbah to the banks of the Oued Tansift, a wadi that forms lush oases during the rainy season. Pass by lime kilns and gaze out at the snow-capped peaks of the Atlas Mountains as you meander down desert trails to the rural oases of Oulad Mansour and Oulad Ali.
