Arrival & Induction
Upon arrival at Iquitos Airport, you will be transferred to our office, where you’ll receive an introduction to the itinerary, our services, and essential guidelines on what to do—and what to avoid—while exploring the jungle.Next, we will transfer you to the Iquitos Port, where you will board a speedboat and embark on an unforgettable adventure in one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.Journey Through the Amazon
During the boat ride, you will witness the breathtaking 'Wedding of the Rivers', where the Nanay River merges with the mighty Amazon. As you cruise through the Peruvian jungle, take in the stunning landscapes and the rich biodiversity of this unique ecosystem.Along the way, you’ll visit Monkey Island, a sanctuary dedicated to protecting and conserving endangered monkey species from the Amazon. This family-run project focuses on rehabilitating primates and preparing them for reintegration into their natural habitat, helping them develop their survival instincts. You’ll have the chance to observe different monkey species living freely within this reserve, where their stay depends on their ability to readapt to the wild.We will then continue the journey to Heliconia Lodge, where you will be welcomed with a refreshing drink made from exotic Amazonian fruits. After check-in, enjoy a delicious lunch featuring local flavors.Afternoon Jungle Walk
In the afternoon, embark on a two-hour guided hike through the rainforest. Along the way, you will identify a variety of flora, including Heliconia flowers, medicinal plants, and towering giant trees. You’ll also have the opportunity to spot diverse bird species such as the Turkey Vulture (Cathartes aura) and the Black-fronted Nunbird (Monasa atia), as well as small monkey families like Marmosets (Saguinus fuscicollis), Titi monkeys (Callicebus mollock mollock), and Squirrel monkeys (Saimiri boliviensis).Relaxation & Sunset Experience

We are located on the banks of the Amazon River, 80 km from the city of Iquitos in the community of Yanamono II zone.
We do not have air conditioning.
The order of the activities may vary according to weather conditions (low and high tide).
Food is not buffet - It is self-service.
All rooms are equipped with: Â Ceiling fans, Panoramic windows and terrace overlooking the garden and Type A electrical outlets.Â
