El Gato Negro, a café with over 95 years of history... López Robredo decided to open his first spice shop. The following year, he moved it to a larger, more distinguished location, which he named "El Gato Negro" (The Black Cat).
Famous in Buenos Aires for its spices, coffees, and teas, this establishment maintains the incomparable style of an elegant general store with its remarkable display and variety of spices, aromatic seeds, seasonings, herbs, coffees, teas, and packaged goods of the highest quality. The coffee is roasted by hand on the premises using the same roaster it had originally used.
The establishment was declared a Site of Cultural Interest by the Legislature of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires and a Notable Bar by the Commission for the Protection of Notable Cafés, Bars, and Confectioneries of the City.
For every two people in the reservation, one brunch will be served, including:
