Visit the magical towns of Cafayate and Cachi, with two full-day excursions. Located in the Calchaquí Valleys region, to get to them you will have to travel impressive roads surrounded by mountains and hills belonging to the Andes foothills. Once in Cafayate you can admire the incredible formations caused by the erosion of wind and water, such as the Amphitheater, Los Castillos and the Devil's Throat. On the way to Cachi you can also enjoy a spectacle of diverse landscapes: jungles, high altitude climates, cardones, condors and snow-capped peaks of more than 6,000 meters above sea level. Itinerary:
Day 1: Welcome to Salta
Reception and transfer to the hotel. Start your adventure with a warm welcome and free time to explore the charming city.
Day 2: Wonders of Cafayate
Pick up from the hotel starting at 6:30 am. We will begin our tour through dazzling landscapes, visiting Cerrillos, El Carril, Valle de Lerma, Coronel Moldes, and Germany. We will continue through the impressive Quebrada de las Conchas, admiring natural formations such as the Devil's Throat, the Amphitheater, the Yesera, the Sapo, the Obelisk and the Castles. We will arrive in Cafayate for a unique experience in its wineries, where you will enjoy a wine tasting. Return to Salta.
Day 3: Charm of Cachi
Departure to Cachi at 6:30 am. We will cross the beautiful Lerma Valley and the Calchaquí Valley, passing through the Quebrada de los Laureles, Quebrada del Escoipe and the fascinating Cuesta del Obispo. We will stop at the Enchanted Valley and the Piedra del Molino, at 3,430 meters above sea level, and we will travel along the "Tin Tin" Straight. We will visit the Cardones National Park, the majestic Nevado de Cachi and the picturesque town of Payogasta before arriving in Cachi. Return to Salta.
Day 4: Urban Exploration in Salta
Departure at 10:00 am. Discover the historical and cultural treasures of Salta, starting at Plaza 9 de Julio. We will see the majestic Cathedral Church, the fascinating Museum of High Mountain Archeology (MAAM), the historic Cabildo of Salta, the San Francisco Church, the San Bernardo Convent and the Güemes Monument. We will end the tour in the vibrant gastronomic area and the charming Plaza Belgrano.
Day 5: Farewell to Salta
Transfer to the Bus Terminal or Salta Airport. Take with you unforgettable memories of this magical experience.
The chosen date must be the day you pick them up from the airport.
Some hotels in the city are not included in our pickup itinerary. If this is the case, we will contact you to indicate the closest hotel to which you should go so that we can pick you up for the excursion. You must wait for your guide in the lobby of the indicated hotel.
During peak holiday seasons (July and January), tours may operate on buses with a capacity of up to 50 passengers. In these cases, hotel pick-up services will not be provided; a meeting point will be established in the city center instead.
