Description
The 'Hill of Uisneach' is the spiritual center of Ireland and arguably one of our most important ancient sites. The point at which the five provinces of Ireland met and where their Kings would celebrate the 'festival of the fire'.
Visitors can view the site where St Fechin founded a Christian monastery in the 7th Century. It's believed that before his death, 300 monks lived in the community. Later, the monastery was set on fire 12 times. Among the remains on site, visitors can see St Fechin's church, built about 900 AD.
Next to Loughcrew, the site of multiple passage tombs from the Neolithic age 5000 years old. Get up close and personal to pre-history in these cairns with its still intact rock art ,lavishly decorating the inside walls-built more than 500 years before the first pyramids.
Trim castle is the best preserved, most impressive example of Anglo-Norman castles in Ireland. It offers a spectacular insight into the lives and traditions of the people from the middle ages.
We travel to The Hill of Tara, which is best known for having been the royal residence of the ancient High Kings that ruled Ireland in Celtic times and beyond. It is said that a quarter of Ireland's landscape can be seen from this hill. Take in this spectacular vista before heading back to the capital.

A real pleasure
Could not have gone better. We flagged a vegetarian in the group and they sorted it without fuss. The venue in Boyne Hollywood has a beautiful setting. Suitable for any age.

Better than expected
We picked it from the photos and it was even better in person. Getting through Dublin was quick and direct. Not the cheapest, but justified. The whole thing was handled over WhatsApp, very practical. The meeting point was well signed and easy to find. The car was smaller than I expected for that much luggage. If we come back to Buenos Aires, we will do it again.

Muy buena experiencia en general. Pagamos bastante menos que otras opciones y la experiencia fue igual de buena. El entrada al castillo de Cahir nos resolvió el día. El horario de regreso se estiró casi una hora más de lo previsto.

Just brilliant. You could tell it was properly organised. We got a clear day at Uisneach Nature Sanctuary and that was pure luck. I would have liked a little longer at the last stop. We would book again.

Saímos encantados. Muito bom que incluía entrada Castelo Blarney. O guia contava histórias que não estão em nenhum guia de viagem. Aprendemos mais sobre a cidade em algumas horas do que lendo três guias. Se voltarmos a Buenos Aires, repetimos.

Recomendable, sabiendo qué esperar. Que venga con entrada al castillo de Blarney hace toda la diferencia. Correcto el guía, aunque el micrófono le fallaba cada tanto. Recomiendo hacerlo temprano, hay menos gente y mejor luz. Se hizo un poco largo en la parte del medio. Con esos detalles arreglados sería un 10.
