The adventure begins in 4WD vehicles along the emblematic Route 40, heading to the majestic Santa Cruz River. Once there, after a brief technical talk and equipped with state-of-the-art dry suits, we set out to paddle in the calm waters that once inspired Darwin.
Discover the magic of nature as you navigate the river. You will be surprised by impressive geological formations and a rich Patagonian fauna, immersing you in a landscape that seems to come from another time.
After paddling 15 km down the river, we will arrive at the cozy Estancia Río Bote, where a delicious lunch awaits you on the banks of the river, the perfect place to relax and share stories before returning to El Calafate.

Minors under 16 years of age cannot carry out this activity, without exception. Minors between 16 and 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult, without exception.
Activity not suitable for travelers with back problems, pregnant women, people in wheelchairs, people with heart problems or serious medical conditions.
The activity is highly demanding, so passengers must be in moderate physical condition.
It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes and warm clothing (sweater, sweatshirt and windproof and/or waterproof jacket), sunglasses, sunscreen, gloves, sun hat or warm hat in case it is very cold.
Some hotels in the city are not included in our pickup itinerary. If this is the case, we will contact you to indicate the closest hotel to which you should go so that we can pick you up for the excursion. You must wait for your guide in the lobby of the indicated hotel.
