Meeting in the hotel lobby to head towards the northern exit of the city, crossing residential areas to NEXT take Avenida Panamericana Norte. There the urban landscape blends with the green of the mountains of the Sabana, the name given to the great Andean valley located on the eastern mountain range, suitable for growing vegetables, corn and especially roses for export. After passing through the town of Chía we will arrive at the town of Zipaquirá, a small Andean city where the Salt Cathedral is located. With an official guide from the site you will visit this architectural wonder touring its 14 stations until reaching the main altar where you can appreciate the splendor of this work considered national heritage of Colombia due to its special design. Visit to a local restaurant to have a typical lunch of the region based on meat and salted potatoes. In the afternoon return to the hotel in Bogotá.
