The city of Lapa originated from a small town on the banks of the old forest road - a part of the historic road that connects Viamão (RS) to Sorocaba (SP). The city is culturally, religiously and historically very rich, as well as possessing the fourth largest territorial area of Paraná. The lapean gastronomy is rustic and abundant, and received the influence of the tropeerista movement.
In this walk you will visit the Monk's Grotto and you will know the mansions and residences of the military of the army that fought in the Federalist War. The tour also has a visit to the Sanctuary of San Benito, Casa de Cámara and Cadena, the Museum of Arms, the Red House, the Pantheon of Heroes, the São João Theater and the Monument of the Tropero.
